how long and how much?

First off thanks for not slamming me. Correct I will not work as fast as you guys so if this takes me 8 hours by myself, one machine, at $50 an hour thats $400.00. minus gas, insurance, and other expenses that leaves me about $40 an hour or $320 for the day. thats better than no dollars for the day. then next year when i do it in 4 hours thats $100.00 an hour sounds ok to me. for a newbie does that sound about right to you guys, ?

Not trying to slam you, but what kind of equipment are you using that it would take you 8 hours to clean this building? I believe we could do this building in under 4 possibly 5 hours WITHOUT a pressure washer.

I am in the most competitive market in the world and we would get at least $500.00 for a project like this. You have to make sure you are getting at least $200.00 per hour from the time you leave the office till you get back at the end of the day. Do you want to be an owner operator forever or do you have hopes of growing your company?

AC
Right on AC. I wouldn,t do it for less then $500, maybe more

001 (800x600) (2).jpgits just that i have never done one before and maybe it will only take 5 hour I just dont know yet . I have an older 2400psi 4 gpm hot water skid unit with a 24 hp engine. it works great but i have never done this size before

It looks like a regular house wash, only the house is bigger.

If you can, get cones to block around the building if they will let you because without cones people will try to park up at the building even though you are spraying soap, lots of people just don't care that you are there, right in front of them working. Some are hoping to try to sue for something these days.

I would not leave cones over-nite, they will get stolen, I have had that happen before.

Good Luck.

This is very easy work, scheduleit for a day that the bank is closed (likely Sunday) to avoid the hassle of people, but still use the cones as a precaution. This is mostly one story and simple. I would price above what most have posted in my market area, but my market area is a unique demographic. Some money is better than none, but don't give it away. It is hard to price it without knowing your general pricing structure, but if its double the size of your basic house charge 1.5 times your house wash price or so. This is a job that should be done is a few hours max.

Pressure washing florida vs maine

One big thing is your in Maine your season is very short unlike fl pressure washing is year around. We will be still washing while you are chopping wood.

If you can only wash homes for 4months charge 3 times what every one is telling you for Florida.

it will stay alot cleaner in Maine than Florida do to the weather.

The video response would not load for me, hmmmmmmm........................ O Well.

Thanks DJ

So I need to figure out what they will get in return for a clean building??? You have any catchphrases/keywords to use?
Do i put this on paper like a quick presentation??

What all applications are you using it for to justify the 40 a month? I'm sure it's not just for replying to posts lol

Send video emails, do live video calls, send video responses to help over come an objection, record sessions with clients
post videos to forums, and web sites. it's super fast and super easy.

825 sounds just about perfect. Say he takes 5 hrs including sqweeging the windows thats 165 per hr knock off all expenses and you got 100 in your pocket per. I know you dont have a flashy box truck but experiance and knowledge at least should make you 100 an hour. If you washed every stain off that place and made it shine if you dont get the contract next year and some hack does it for a fraction of you and doesnt get it perfect they will call u next time and then you will have them by the you know whats. Just think thats when the price increase come into effect 900$ and you have the experiance with the place already. Oh and get rid of that jug of store bought bleach. Or at least put it in a labelled and sealable pail. Not trying to be at all rude just what ive learned is to not let the customers think that anyone can go to the store and get some products and stop at the local home depot and pick up a pw throw it in a van and call yourself a wash guy. I didnt see the condition of the van but if it looks beat up give it a paint job and keep it clean. Too a point I can do almost the same amount of work with a 4 or 7 gpm pump. It does make you faster with the flow and pressure increases but for the place your looking at a garden hose would not slow you down. Chems and elbow grease on this one make sure you stretch before this one, gonna be sore tonight. good luck.

No store bought containers

listen and they will tell me, I need to learn how to do that. I do believe that i have some sales skills, I will find out tommorow

now i need to learn how to not get soaked, lol

Thanks to everybody, I do appreciate the ideas, help and responses.

You can go and train with contractors that are not in your city, it would shorten the learning curve a lot and help you get to where you want to be a lot faster.

:banghead: I hear what your saying but I got to learn this on the fly.I did do a house wash today so that shortened the bill pile a little.
