I dont carry anything when I am working. I even stash my wallet when I am working. If I am approached, I tell them they need to find my wife, since she is the one with all the money. It usually works pretty well. Every once in a while, I will carry some singles in my pocket, and will give them out, just to see how many people hit me up. My record is 35 people in one night. I had one guy threaten me. He walked away after I started laughing at him.

lol so true. does that work.

I
I primarily use Blackhawk SERPA Holsters for my open carry, Galco for concealed. Just my choice and recommendation.

I have several 1911's, Browning HP,Desert Eagle, a couple The FN Five-seveN (for competition shooting) and just about every weapon Glock has ever produced. My favorite open carry is the Glock G18C.

US Cav or LA Police Gear have decent prices and fast delivery. Might find a better price on Cheaper Than Dirt, but slower shipping. http://www.lapolicegear.com/blackhawk-holsters.html

He tried the blackhawk at the store and thought the pull was too hard. Maybe it loosens up in time.

Homeboy is now STRAPPED.

Jim, he went ahead with the Serpa holster and likes it now. I think it was the right decision. It's virtually impossible for anyone to snatch it off him, you can almost pick him up by it.

The first night he went to Walmart, Walgreens and 7-11 and he was surprised that nobody gave him a second glance.

(now, should I send him out to do some collections?)

The retention is adjustable Tony, a little set screw on the side. I prefer mine tight (focus, I'm still talking about the holster) but not too tight that I pull my belt up too high that I risk harming my hanging jewels.

They will slightly loosen up over time, so he may need to readjust the retention screw from time to time.

Keep the weapon well oiled, powder dry and the best add on I recommend is a laser. Light someone up with that laser and you'll probably never need to transition your trigger finger to the trigger.

Don't pick the boy up by the holster, not if you want more grand babies. This personal disclaimer is probably not included in your owners manual.

We just foam the living shit out of them! Then stun gun them.:triniti:

I have Laser Max lasers on both of my concealed weapons. Well worth the $$$, considering the savings in attorney fees if you have to ventilate a target.

That's a sweet laser. But a little pricey. If I know Chris he will just duct tape a presentation laser to it.

I keep a 9x18 Makarov in the vehicle with me. Packs enough power but I can still grab and go. Had a .45 but didn't fit in my hand comfortable enough to pull it in an emergancy. My husband has his carry conceal permit so he takes one with us most places.

I carry a .50 cal Desert Eagle semi auto under the seat and had to pull it out once! Night work in trenton. Guy wanted to take my truck and whole rig. Ummm he ran off like a scarred kitty cat.

I used to Carry, I don't any longer. I might if I was out at night again.
