Monroe's motivational sequence- DO YOU USE IT?

thats an in depth link but basically its like this

step 1 - ATTENTION STEP - Attract the attention of the customer
step 2 - NEEDS STEP - Listen to or collect the needs of the customer
step 3 - SATISFACTION STEP - let the customer know how you are going to fill those needs
step 4 - VISUALIZATION STEP - Make the customer envision the finish product
step 5 - ACTION STEP - Close the deal


Does any one use this?? . . . I learned this in speech class last week and it is helping me a lot when i talk to customers
 
Having been in sales and marketing the last ten years (which means nothing by the way), I find that the true test of a good salesman is to use the sales process all the way through with every customer.
It is a lot harder than it seems for instance: To greet a customer, and identify there needs is cool, drawing the picture of how your going to solve their problem, great, finishing off with a great job, expressing gratitude for their trust in you and collecting the check, all that is good.
Would'nt our lives be fantastic if that's all that we had going on?
I guess what i'm talking about is an ability to focus completely on your work (business)
1.I have three kids and my office is at home.
2.we all had the flu this week (Jobs got pushed back which means alot of phone calls and rescheduling)
3.trying to get a new rig going
4.Hoa's have meetings and deadlines
on and on and on
it's alot to keep track of, I am not complaining, i am just saying sometimes it can affect your game
anyone else struggle with this at times?
