New Ride on Surface machine by Bill Clemmons

If I was guessing, I would also guess 1/2" or larger pressure hose.

Look at the fire hose feeding the tank, probably use that to rinse when done also, sure would be a lot faster than a wand.

I would just connect the 2 20" surface cleaners together like they did the big ones inthe picture and get a smaller one for the back, maybe a 12" or 16" but you would need to connect a couple of your machines together to make it work.

I was thinking something similar but using 2 of the 20" spray bars and 1 12" bar in the back but all in an aluminum box, kind of like what Bob did when he built the 90" surface cleaner.

With 56" of cleaning path, that would be great, I am not sure if connecting both my 5.6 and 8gpm machines together would be enough to run it, maybe?

When you think about it, 4 to 5 gpm can run a 20" surface cleaner so in theory an 8gpm machine could run 2 of them so adding my 5.6gpm machine would be extra flow, even when adding the extra 12" spray bar in the back.

If I remember correctly, Steel Eagle would make the deck that would clean 40" wide but I do not know if it was one spray bar or a couple smaller spray bars, I will have to call my friend to get the details.

I think he told me that the deck would be less than $1200 which I think would be a great price considering the deck, spray bars, swivels, engineering, construction, etc...

The only concern I would have running your sizes, is if your machines are really pushing what they say they are, you may have to strobe the pump or tach the engine and then do the pump pulley rpm calculation, and make sure the rpm is accurate so you are outputing the advertised gpm. But the sizes you mentioned is ok

If you had a zero turn mower and added a surface cleaner deck and there were hydraulics there originally for the mower deck, you could raise the deck up for both weaker concrete and possibly..........Hmmmmmmmmmm More ideas here. Another market....................

Ahead of you on that one. No need for hydrulics the design is already there in the mowing industry.

Instead of doing that, if you have a steam valve, you can open that up if you think that you might over-flow the swivels. Even with the burner off, the steam valve is just bypassing some of the water after the pump but before the burner so you are slowing down the flow. I think that might work if the gpm's were too much for the swivels.

Most of the swivels out there are rated up to 7 or 8gpm so with 3 swivels and only 14gpm, I think that it would be ok.

I was thinking the other way around Chris, units that say 5.6 or 8 gpm are not always 5.6 or 8 output, they maybe less, I heard that Hydrotek had an issue with that a long time ago, the gpm quoted was of the max output at the pump at max specs and not of the complete engine and pump unit.

The only mowers I have seen have the lever to raise the deck but I guess that would work also.

I think that a 40" or 52" deck would be plenty big, good enough to do parking garages and large parking lots with the comfort of driving.

Just have to make sure you have a drink holder or ice chest.

You could also rig up an umbrella for the hot days, guys with the parking lot stripers and drivers have them rigged up for hot days, some with water misters too. People can be very creative.

That is probably true but then add in friction, length of hose and the other factors, it will be less gpm's and presssure than what the max pump specs are.

I am suprised that manufacturers are not making larger decks with multiple spray bars instead of larger spray bars for commercial contractors, maybe not enough demand?

Maybe when a bigger giant like Tennant jumps in the hard surface pressure washing field.

Bill Clemmons in Conjunction with Whisper Wash has design and built these 36" Ride on Surface Machines. The one you see pictured here was used to Clean the Dover Raceway which was over 1,000,000 sq ft. To think that you would do a large job like this with a "Walk Behind" surface machine think again.....

These Type of Large Jobs you can make a ton of money per hour with one of these machines. Bill builds two types of this particular machines. One with the ability to Reclaim and one for straight Powerwashing. The one he is going to be showcasing at various upcomming events he is just about finished Building...can you say Mag wheels?? You will see a state of the art trailer and one of these machines.

Bill did authorize me to show these pictures here. Just think of the money you can make with these. One decent size job and this machine will pay for itself and then some.

Johnny no link?

Chris I was thinking more like these mowers......These mowers are made by wright. One is a stand on type other is a sit type personally i've never owned a wright. I am sure both would do the job. The exmark that was pictured is a great mower too........

Or you can do this and carry your own water and not drag a hose

Bill Clemmons?????????? Has anyone had any succes with getting Bill Clemmons to call you back????????????????? I have left 5 messages on his cell trying to purchase a piece of equipment and can't get a return call........ Customer Service???????

That is a great idea, I saw the video where they connected two cleaners together.

I told Lori about a few of my ideas, if her dad like them, they might start making and selling them, that would be cool! I told her to not talk about it.

Have you done that with your surface cleaners...connected them together?
