I have been up and down all my life, its all just get moving and eat right. I will just control portions for the rest of my life. We all just over eat, I'll check it out. But truly I just need one sandwich instead of two.

Good luck man ... Easiest way to cut weight is not sweets, limited salts, and only water for your beverage from here on out. Hit the cardio 30 min a day in the mornings when you get up and you will shed the pounds like crazy

Thats the truth and I hate it. Eating is just about my favorite thing to do. Heck, Ive gained close to 50 pounds since I started dating Katie 3 years ago. The old britches arent fitting anymore!

I have been doing the same here my pants were getting a bit tight in the waist. I went and bought a scale for the first time and I was a .10 of a pound from 200#:yikes:. Didn't break the barrier but that was a big motivator for me to avoid that. Just by cutting my portions I lost 10# in 2 days, too bad I like food a lot.
 
Your going on a Weight Gaining program...LOL

My wife will disagree with you I am up to 190. I should be at 170.

If you approach this diet with same attitude and effort you put into your businesses you will do well. It takes knowledge to do things correctly but it takes doing it to get the results and I know you of all people know that.

Here is my recommendation to drop the L-bs.
Drink water or un-sweet tea- No soda or any booze its all sugars
Limit white starches (no potatoes) 100% whole wheat breads
Smaller portions
Eat like a cave man (greens and meat) for Diabetes

Your wifes to good of a cook Paul , your round had the traditional food last year. If I'm below 250 by Milwaukee I'll eat those beans she made. I still remember those!!

Food is my enemy. I love it too much. I have lost weight before with portion control. Kept a calorie journal and everything.
 
Good luck Ron.. Portion control is what its all about.. I try to eat 6 small meals a day pre made.. Eating healthy can really suck sometimes.. especially when you travel a lot like you do.

Not going anyplace except Florida in jan. Portion control is it, I will move my azz too. Today I climbed north mountain!! Ouch
 
P90X is the chit. My wife lost 10lbs in 3 weeks and wasn't overweight at all. she didn't follow the diet but did use portion control. I got noticeably leaner. I'm up to 200lbs. I don't mine that weight, I just wanna carry it differently. Lol

A bunch of us did http://www.weightlosswars.com/ a couple of years ago. Everybody paid in and the top three losers got money back, iirc.

Trash-talking, ball-busting, and competing for cash are good motivators.

I need to get my act together, too.
