Cool video, but couldn't really tell before & after shots. Also I think your spelling "guarenteed", is supposed to be spelled "guaranteed", not sure though so don't hold me to it.:thumbup2:

I like it! I agree it would have been helpful to be able to tell more difference between the before and after areas.

I get some crap from the guys on here for putting music in the background of my videos. But, with a decent song, people will continue to watch throughout the entire video instead of cutting it off midway with voice overs. That's my opinion and I'm sticking too it!

Good video but I agree you can't tell the before I understand it would be hard to with that color tile.
We have a couple of commerical account that want us to do the restrooms and we are always knocking out the grout. How do you keep from doing so. Our psi is 3500 what is yours?

Good video Joe, I would show more of the dirty stuff being cleaned so they can see what a remarkable difference your cleaning is doing, otherwise it is hard for someone to understand how good the system is.

You could always add some still before/afters in the video I think.

I think you are correct.....even spell check has failed me.....

joe I would use a tripod

Will do....need my address? :wave2:

Hey Joe,

Pretty good video. I do have a couple suggestions though since you're asking :D

When you watch that video does it answer the question "This is what you get?", or "This is what we've got, or do?" In my opinion, it says "This is what we do"...

Second, most people have no friggin clue that you are using some cool equipment that will not make a huge mess in their restaurant. The kind of equipment that low-balling scumbags don't use for the most part. Flaunt that in a way that says "This is what you get".

I disagree with my buddy Tony and would take that music off of there. You can mix voice and music to keep the attention up, but I wouldn't just have music for the whole video. Especially such a horrible song :) Just kidding. What I'm talking about though is something like this.

Another thing is your call to action is weak, and there is no deadline which makes it even weaker. "Call us to see what we can do for you" will have a very low response rate compared to something like "Call Before July 31st to receive a FREE dumpster Cleaning for Your Restaurant" would do much better.

Start collecting email addresses from potential customers and send them the link to this video and BAM, you got yourself a hit.

Hope this helps, and good luck Bro.

That's some great advice Anthony!

Hey Joe great video. Yes "guaranteed" is spelt with an A. Just a quick question. Is cleaning tile floors very profitable. Do you charge by the hour, job or square foot? Just curious. But great video again.

Bryan

It is extremely profitable, either as an add on service or a stand alone, it is a great key for getting restaurants or really any business with a tile floor. Once you get in with some companies, they turn into very repeat customers, people take their floors way personal, lots more then exteriors, and that is probably because there are so many little pressure washing guys that solicit business from them everyday, but when you say that you can do the outside and the inside, then you have their attention.

Are you coming to Tampa, you can learn more there for sure.

Great info guys!

Great link for my website showing work that I do:eek:

Seems to be a trend....:jester: Maybe I can customize it for so that your # is on the video.....

Na' just steel it....I'm used to it by now....

I really missed the slam dunk with him stealing my video....I could have just flagged him on craigs list.....keep doing that and he will get no where in a hurry...

Maybe just keep your name and number appearing throughout the video and something saying how there are liars and theifs out there stealing intellectual content and portraying it as their own so make sure that they only call the number on the video itself.

Maybe some customizing videos could be done for the right price? It does sound like a good deal to me.

Indeed....great point. They are everywhere these days.

These aren't the videos I distribute but I use them as kind of a throw around on the net, kind of like a test market deal. I get lots of calls from them and they are strangely profitable, but when I do trade shows, marketing events and the like, I use a different set of vids, that were shot by a buddy of mine, they all look great, all of the videos you see on my youtube page, are usually shot just for the sake of proof of no liability with customers, I always cover myself. And these days more people seem to like to use them for there own purposes. And I am just waiting for ""someone"" to call some of the customers they see in these videos and tell them all kinds of ""great"" things about me, that as well seems to be something that ""some"" people are doing these days, and I use the word people loosely, they are more of the slime type that grows in a dumpster.

Another thing is your call to action is weak, and there is no deadline which makes it even weaker. True, but I target market with the vids and print, and use that approach when I do so. I am a big believer in sending out 500 pinpoint targeted packages rather then the broadcast market style.

I am a huge data miner kind of guy, I am always collecting cards and info, everyone I know does the same thing for me, I have generated tons of work this way. I scour lots of data bases and collect all data for marketing merges and ad campaigns. I use thumb drives and cd's as well, I have auto open code put on them and it works great.

Hope this helps, and good luck Bro.

Thank you for your input, I will put it to great use.

Are you going to Tampa? If not, drop me a line sometime, would like to chat sometime.

Ant, the Youtube videos I've put up (almost exclusively with music in the background) have brought in students for my classes from all over the US and Canada. I've gotten coil cleaning work from local HVAC companies from them as well as calls from as far away as Florida that I am in the process of trying to close and use a PWI contractor to get the work done.

There is another HVAC guy on the web who has informative videos and is very popular. I've heard from many that while his videos are very informative, it's difficult to listen to the talking throughout.

The common theme when people call and talk to me about my videos is how easy mine are to watch and pay attention to because of the background music. Maybe it's a subconscious thing and the subconscious gets into the music while the mind absorbs the visuals. I dont know.

Most of these are not 30 second TV advertisements. Like Joe, most of mine are meant for customers and if they don't mind me opening them to the public I open them up on youtube. I've literally got 5-8 private videos for every public one.

As a secondary note, I almost listen to NOTHING on the internet. I can't. I have a noisy office with people on the phone and dogs barking at every sound. A lot of people are in that situation and would rather see the information in print instead of hearing it. This isn't a television medium where everyone stops everything to listen.

Those are just my thoughts. I know it goes against what is taught in marketing schools, but hey, I've never been one to try to go down the beaten path or I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing for a living.

Here's another thought....Why do TV shows have theme songs that show action in the background and no yakking? How many of them do you remember?

I bet most people over 40 remember almost every visual in this intro:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3CquMO3vJvo&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3CquMO3vJvo&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

it is a must, to keep some things private, i leave enough in the videos i put out up to make you think it is easy, and i keep enough out to make sure you make fatal mistakes when you try to do what i do, call me narcissistic but the mistakes i have made over the years are mine, and i take that knowledge as serious as i can. And to call this deceptive, would be a true and accurate statement. I have been teaching people how to clean restaurants and to pressure wash for a long time, i have been giving legal briefs and expert witness testimony for a few years as well, so i must be doing something correct.

i do however share alot of information with people, but the line needs to be drawn at some point, there is no copyrighting or trademarking what i do , so i need to protect it when i can.

i say this, anthony definately has style and impact.

pressure washing was not anywhere on my list of thing i thought i would be doing in life, i got into it by accident. I have done lots of different things in my life, including being a professional sea shell salesman.:sarcastic: I read some marketing articles now and then, but hard for to follow all of them cause my recipe for what i do has treated me well, but i am always interested in talking to people in this industry that are going strong for a few years.
