OH NO! I am doing the $99.00 house wash !!!

Russ I am new to this but have been reading these forums almost non-stop for three days. I'll be asking you lots of questions in the future.:)
Im no expert like Russ, or most of these guys for that matter, but you can give me a call anytime since your not that far from me. There are tons of people here with some serious knowledge about this biz. You can definitely learn alot from these guys.

Nicks right on the money. People talk about I can get this and, just give me 3 days and I'll up sell this to $ 600 on a house. Well not in Florida.
The North is a DIFFERENT MARKET.
Duh. It doesn't matter what "package" you sell. LOL.
Been there.

I am honestly thinking about moving back north and giving this a whirl up there. I already have alot of connections up there.

Up north you dont have the comptition that you have in fl just look in any phone book in fl or ma big diffence. But I wouldnt want to pressure wash when its below 32. or lower.

Also it seems dirty every where I go in MA. The roof cleaning in MA could be a huge. No one seems to be doing it, or Knows how to.

Russ, you inspired me bro. I was once in real estate and am now back to the solid way to survive (manual labor) actually offering something I can back up. I love the "99" wash, in real estate it's called a teaser rate and it gets the fricken phone ringing. I sent out flyers a week ago and have gotten 5 calls 2 sales. "When in drought, whip it out" LOL. I appreciate all the successors here for taking the time to "share the wealth", truly good people :) TY Bryan.

Great job Russ!

Way more to this guys, sales and the way your ad reads is very important.

We have a residential guy here any home 99.00 for a driveway. He leaves with a way higher average than Russ.

The homes he is targeting are worth millions, the people dont even think about not doing the sidewalks, decks patios, patio furniture and pool areas.

He highest sale was sealing the concrete and he charged 36,000 was there 5 days with 4 guys and used around 15,000 in material.

He only owns a cold water machine, he ticks me off. He is a great salemens and works hard to insure he maximizes every oportunity.

The $99 special or 'stuff fer free' has always been the way to get the phone to ring. But ya really got to have some qualifying language/limits stated in the fine asteric print. The well to do's will still call as they usually can do math and use common sense. Well that's not entirely true..nice areas can be just as full of shoppers that want to get the 3-5 bids for even a C note level job.
But so something like *upto 1000 sq.ft* works for specials.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

last time we did it we averaged over 550.00 a house

Great work Russ!!

That's a killer Ron. There are definitely some who have it. {meaning sales technique and others with money}

Sorry I don't get the $99 house wash gimick... We get $350 to $550 on an average house wash and are in and out in the same time and your making a hundred bucks? Doesn't make sense. Low prices bring in more of those who ordinarily wouldn't be able to afford your services. Granted you can potentially upsell sidewalks, drives, roofs, etc... but your doing the work for practically free considering what you could get from a quality customer who can afford your services. We work to upsell housewashes on our closed deck work throughout the season and have great results at good profitable prices. To each there own though :)

$99 House Washer That Morphed Into More...

I just did an "$99" House wash that turned into a $1,200 deck wash that turned into a $4,375 Commercial building wash.

I guess you just never know. The person who called for the house was was a paint contractor that does not power wash. Turns out that he had spoken to two different power washing contractors. One showed up...set up..packed up to go get a ladder and never came back. The other called at 9AM the day of and said he would not be able to be there.

I talked to him at 7PM last night and was there at 6:45 this morning. Had it washed in a little over an hour. They were amazed how my 0040 tip reached the 2nd story with ease and that I could get rid of that pesky green stuff :rotflmao1:

also, I have a couple leads to wash the neighbors roofs that are beggin' for some love.

In Short...Thanks Russ for this little gem of a tool to get in front of a customer so they can see the results of a PA Power Washing Company

I know I am waking up an old thread. BUT...

I have seen one guy in town here doing the $99 house wash, he posts yard signs at random intersections.

Here is my debate, does he just post these signs and they stay until someone takes them up? Or does he have permission?

Next question, I was setting here and kind of laughing at put (House wash starting at $98) right next to it, just made me chuckle. The question is, would it be better to look like a low baller or like I price higher because I am better i.e. (House wash starting at $101) ?

My favorite sales pitch to the $99.00 house washes is this. We fix those $99.00 house washes. I love fixing other cheap companies screw ups. I end up sell 20 jobs per neighborhood off of companies who screw up these house washes. Russ is smarter though. He is selling more off the $99.00 house wash. People in SC are pressure washing houses, driveways and decks for $99.00.
