Pro Powerwash is Certified to Clean Roofs In Houston TX

Wow, you guys really did a good thing for the industry there!

I said I WAS GOING TO KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT!

So I erased what else I typed before I posted it.

I wonder how well I can do with my business in Russia? Or maybe Cuba?

One last thing, wow we have really went a different direction from the hard asses we all used to be, 5 years ago you would have thrown a fit over this, reminds me of something like this:

I am Throwing a Fit, you know my stance. We need to truly get on the same page in stead of acting like School Children.

I spent 2000 of my own money to protect yours and my living.

This Law is ridiculous, we truly need to get together on this one for sure.

The city had present other officials from other states, they are trying to model this for other states. Relax because Bama and Florida where not present. LA was there and people in LA need to be concerned because they are a broke currupt place already.

I remain the same as I always have, I do not want these types of LAWs in place anywhere.

I will also go on record I'm pretty certain the city is citing un-lawfully.

Look on the bright side, now you guys can all charge 24 cents a square foot like your buddy in San Francisco! What a great day for the industry!!!! :)

No contractor are actually reporting the exact oposite, less money and customers stopping cleaning all together.

Can I ask AGAIN, I know the UAMCC is weak at most BUT where the heck is the PWNA? Are they doing anything? are they fighting this? Do they have a plan to fight this? Do they even know of this?

They may be doing something but I havent read anything or is it OK with them so their distributor members can sell their wares

I'm not a member, but I am a member of the industry and would like to know

Or is it just up to Ron to fight this kind of stuff and the few others that heard about this on PWI

All Houston needs to do now is pass a law that if facilities don't pressure wash then the owner can be fined, would make as much sense as what they have on the books right now.

After talking to Ron, I know he knows what path to take to start the change process but it will take time. It will be very interesting to see when the changes start, once they start in the right places, it might even make national news with what needs to happen first and why it did not happen since 1996. hahahahaha

To many regs are going to put us out of biz, but isnt Texas a Red State/Shouldnt all these loud mouth republican politicians be saying something about all the regulations and basically taxes they are laying on all the small business washers??

Jeff, Robert H. was there but I don't know if he was there representing the PWNA, Deluxe or just himself.

Robert is very knowledgeable in these things and will be a great help to the city of Houston if they will let him help them make the proper changes.

Ron will also be a great help.

LeKing, when it comes to bigger government and more regulations, loud mouth Republicans and Democrats are all for it. No matter what any of them say. Job security for them and new govt employees.

Now all the certified people need a houston Permit....Good Luck....LOL

Before it was over, Ron was handed an application, no joking.

Ron will have a permit to do pressure washing in Houston and be certified......while living and working in Arizona. That is how the system in Houston works......works for the politicians in Houston.

I'll get approved, paper work is already in. I might even get the hauling permits as well. Will see how far we take this, I intend on doing nothing with any of it but need to follow the steps so I can fully understand this. Sorta educating myself so we can impliment change.

Thank you Ron for doing this for the contractors and getting involved.
Eric and I tried to tell everyone several years ago that Houston was getting crazy now it is in front of everyone. Hopefully an org will step up and assist us.

The idea that a pressure washing company generates any substancial pollutants is assinine. the real polluters generate more in one hour than any cleaning company could in a life time. It's all about money always has always will be. The real polluters have big pockets to buy off or hire lawyers to get them out of any trouble. If the powers that be really wanted to put a stop to the real polluters they would have shut down BP the moment they blatantly dumped millions of gallons of oil in the gulf. Its all about money. I suggest some of you in houston take a week to follow around the city or county trucks and take pictures then fine or citizens arrest them when they pollute. what the hell is this country coming too when you can get fined for spraying water on a house.

Actually if the govenment had allowed drilling where the oil was easilly accessable near the shore the BP horizon disaster would of never happened. The reason BP is forced to drill a hundred miles off shore in thousands of feet of water is because the governemnt says that is the only place they could drill.

Look guys Houston is BROKE and they need the money. They have alot of people who aren't from there Hell they aren't even from this country that are draining the public dollars out of the city faster than the silly AMERICANS can put them back.

Instead of enforcing the laws that are already there they will come up with new ones to generate income from the people who are actually scared that they will go to jail or get fined. There isn't a special interest group that is gonna come out of the woodwork because hardworking americans are getting bullied by the local governments.

You should recruit some illegals to start washing and when they get mobbed by the cities THEN you will see things change.

People say that the issue

That is not a bad idea, have illegals do the cleaning, letting lots of contaminants go down the drain and let's see how the city collects, all they can do is detain them then deport them and they wasted more tax dollars trying to collect. Then have more illegals keep on doing the same thing over and over and over. I wonder if the enforcement officers will eventually tire of all the B.S. that they are enforcing.

This would be funny, kind of like the video of the illegals getting out of the SUV and scattering all over the place and the 2 cops there just dumbfounded and don't know who to go after. hahahahaha Maybe after enough of the illegals get caught the police will just give up and head back to the doughnut shop. hahahahaha

Now it will be costing them more to enforce the B.S. than what it is worth as they will not collect a penny, just house and feed the illegals then drive them back to the border where the illegals will hitch a ride back the same day and be at it tomorrow. hahahahaha

It's getting better...they are working WITH us...Thanks to RON for all his time spent here and on the phone with the Houston Police Major Offenders Division. Still have a ways to go but it is getting much better. Next Texas Water Code class is July 21st here in Houston. FREE to anyone that wants to attend and hear all about the enforcement here.

I talked to contractor last week that was actually able to clean a fast food restaraunt without having to reclaim, simply by calling, discussing, and education the city about the property he would be cleaning. That's HUGE.

They opened two more options that apparently they forgot to discuss at the last show.
