Roof Cleaner Hurt In Tampa

Thanks everyone! My Son is in terrible pain, his forearm is swelled up and red as big as his thigh, and he must keep it elevated. Surgery is tomorrow AM to lance the infection. Needless to say, he can't wait for the surgery. I told him he is in everyone's prayers, and he says Thank You to everyone.

Sorry to hear of your sons illness. I know you were not expecting that to happen at all. I will pray for him and put it on my Facebook to some Pastor friends I know.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Chris, prayers on the way for Jamie for a full and speedy recovery. Please let us know how the surgery goes!

Prayers sent Chris, God bless you and your Family

Chris, I hope things are going well with the surgery! Our thoughts are all with you today

So sorry to hear this, Chris. Keep us updated.
My wife asked today if I had heard anything else.

Thanks Thad, and everyone else! Surgery was done today, and the last chance I/V antibiotics started to work enough for a huge Pus head to form that went clear down to his forearm bone. This morning, they surgically lanced the pus head, and used a "recovery device" to suck it all out. He is bandaged, and it is still oozing, so bandages must be changed frequently. He is on a Morphine Drip, and "feeling no pain".
They saved his arm, and I am grateful.
I was told had he waited ANY longer to go to the hospital, he would be an amputee!
Like most cleaners, we are tough people, my Son and I, plus, we have no Health Insurance. We simply can't afford it.
It took a recent heart attack to send me to the Hospital. We just "suck it up", and go on when we can.
I just dropped off 20 dollars at the hospital so he can buy some Snickers bars, and other goodies.

Good to hear Chris, glad your son is doing better, I know how much health care is and the premiums are going off the chart !!!

That's great news Chris...I would have went with a Twix bar but that's just me.
I swear, sometimes we "survive" on Snickers Bars, and the dollar menu at fast food places. The bad Tampa Economy has effected us.

Well, I have coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and a stent in my heart, besides COPD from all the chlorine fumes. No way I am getting health insurance, assuming I could afford it, which I can't. Like many cleaners here in Tampa, we are just barely surviving. Business is terrible, and the rain aint helping.
