Has anyone tried Simple green concentrate?I have been using it the last few days and it sems to completely kill the bleach smell from the Sh.

It seems to be doing a good job with Ajax dish soap.

I have tried the simple cherry and it doesn't seem to do any better.Maybe I'm not using it correctly.I use 16 ozs per 2 gals of water premixed in a 2.5 gal jug and just add it when I'm on the job site.
 
i thought mixing simple green and bleach might not go together.How much are you mixing together
 
i put some in my mix for my house, it does smell good. but i allready have to much stuff in it now. i shot it on the south side of my house then brushed and rinsed it got 99% of the oxidation off.
 
how much would you mix lets say for a 50 gallon mix of roof wash?
 
Mario the simple green works good on oxidized vinyl?
 
I can get some of that by the case!! if any body wants it, let me know. i'll check the price real quick and post back,
 
i think the brush did it, EaCo Chem has something i used last year that melted it right off. Cleansol
 
I used it today for a house wash and it worked great and the smell was awesome. I have not tried it on a roof yet but i probably will monday.
 
I looked at the MSDS, it's active ingredient is less than 6 percent - 2
butoxyethanol, says there are no hazards mixing it with anything ?

Thats expensive for only a 6 percent solution.

It MIGHT mask the smell of diluted bleach in a house wash situation ?
I don't know if it will mask a tank of roof cleaning strength chemical ?
 
i know i deal with a lot of soot here so i need a good soap to take that away i think simple green may do the trick but im not positive.
 
I use about a cup in a 5 gal bucket.I use the concentrate its about $15 a gal at lowes or HD.Which after you pay shipping on some of the other guys stuff really isn't that bad to me.

A Sherwin Williams rep stopped on a job today and told me he can get it cheaper than that.

I cleaned 12 senior citizens apartments today and it was great to be able to tell them the simple green was in there and they knew what it was.
 
Hey cajun does the simple green make the 12.5 weaker over a couple of days i used it today and have about 10 gallons of house wash left over think i can use it next week? also i bought a gallon of concentrate today at HD and it was only like $8.47or close to that.
 
hey Chrisduffy let me know if you find anything for the soot, last year i cleaned a roof and the long streak of black soot at the base of the chimney on the tiles stuck out like a sore thumb. i went back 3 times with krud cutter, rust aid, a degreaser, and my nephew hit it with straight pressure, nothing. Bob said f-13 should work.
