Very Cool Trailer Setup

Just saw the reply to my post. By your calculations, which are correct, you are over weight. I run 23 horse briggs motors. I got rid of my 25 horse kohlers when ethanol hit 10% and kohler could not come up with a solution to keep them running, other than running an aux fuel pump to keep them from vapor locking. I run Udor pumps because they exceed any other pump bar none. I run 8 gallons a minute on each machine as 4.5 is fine for homeowners, not for commercial cleaning applications. My machines are enclosed in my trailers and box trucks to keep them out of the elements and to keep them running on rainy days. My trailers and trucks are ventilated with electric fans. I do this for a living and only buy or make the best. I am sure that I have not made as many trailers as you have, but I have built about twenty over the years, ranging from pig cookers to the trailer for my 32' Sea Fox boat. Surface cleaners on roofs are not professional. The trigger on your surface is integrated into the handle. This means that the machine has to be cut off to disconnect or a ball valve has to be used. One wastes time and the other is heavy. I strive for effeciency in everything.Your breakaway cable does not need to be mounted above the hitch. It can snag while turning. Mount it on the side V. The tounge jack is located where it will bust your knuckles on the battery. The break away chains need more attaching them to the trailer than the spot welded loop it has now. It appears that the tounge jack sits to far forward for a tailgate to be lowered, but I may be wrong. The V needs to be integrated into the trailer frame, not sticking under it a few feet. I don't know you and I have no doubt but that you are a great guy and salesman. You seemed to think that my comments were uniformed. I just wanted you to see that they are not. I hope you sell a ton of them as every one needs to make a dollar. My only suggestion, and I know that you did not ask for one, would be to build the trailer to the specs that you would be happy with 10 years down the road.

I like the Set as Scott metioned interior units here in the desert and I bet in Florida just heat up and dont get the ventalation need to run properly.

I hate fuel in enclosed trailers.

I hear you on fuel. After a week I had this cage built. I wish I could get the gas tanks for the machines outside too.

Stop Smoking Jeff, throw a smoke out the window and kaboom

I never drive that lol

Although I did freak out once. The tranny pan a couple bolts cam loose and got tranny fluid on the exhaust pipe. I was in a truck in front of that truck and all you could see is smoke, I thought the whole trailer was on fire. Man a few drops of tranny fluid on a hot pipe sure makes a lot of smoke

Lay it down William.

Dan.....send a trailer up to Savannah, I will have one of my crews "Road Test" it, offer real world, informed feedback. There will be no charge to you for this except the knowledge and wealth of intelligent feedback about how you can improve your trailer and if not improve it, help sell more.

Please Contact Mike at 912-308-8544 to setup delivery. I am available next week. I prefer a White Trailer but we can make any color work. Thanks again and I look forward to helping you with your R & D!

This is a one of a kind trailer that I designed to meet my client needs.
This is a 10,000 capacity trailer. We have never overloaded any trailer we built or mounted equipment on. All trailer have the proper tongue weight.

We always use the high quality trailers with 4 wheel electric (or surge) brakes on tandem axle trailer trailer. Any single axle trailer with a gross weight of 3000 lb or more also gets an electric braking system. We prefer channel or box tubing frame over angle iron construction. Custom paint, chrome and aluminium diamond plate allows our clients stand out to their client. We take a lot of pride in what we produce.

Bottom line I have designed and sold between 400 to 500 hundred trailers rigs as well as dozens of truck mounted units over the past 20 years.

Florida's climate forces us to be creative when it comes to keeping air cooled engines running at a normal operating temperature. The stainless steel frame and burner housing allow the machine to be more weather proof. A machine cover keeps it clean while not is use.

Land in Florida is expensive, thousands of apartment buildings on the beach or inter-coastal areas use parking garages so it is critical for our clients to have low profile trailers to get into them.

Storage units in our area is also expensive so we design trailer that can have a 535 gallon tank with a 31 HP 3500 PSI @ 9 GPM hot water pressure washer with a ladder / sign rack tool box & 4 pack of reels on it and still fit in a residential garage. But we have built all kinds of trailers in all sizes and shapes.

If you want to see a couple of hundred other trailers and trucks I have designed and sold, you can go to my Youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2klin700YZM.

You can also see more at www.ices.net.

I appreciate all the attention this trailer has received, I would love to see your rigs please email me your photos to highpressuresalesman@gmail.com.

We never have trouble with ethanol the 25 HP to 27 HP Kohler engines even with our 3000 PSI @ 9 GPM hot water unit maybe because we keep them on open trailers. We did have some trouble with the Vanguard 29 HP units but it turned out to be valve related.

The tongue is welded under the trailer adds more strength by tying the side rails to front rails. This trailer is rated at a true 10,000 lbs. To many trailer manufactures will put axles on under rated frames thats why they should always confirm a trailer cargo capacity. We have had to turn away a lot of guys who brought us inexpensive trailer that would not carry the weight.

I would say 40% of pressure cleaning done in our area is on tile roofs, most of our guys work by themselves, since you need Works Comp even with one employee. The Blue Thunder allows them to pressure cleaner up to 2500 Square Feet per hour without a drop of chemical or a need for extra workers water and covering plants. The Blue Thunder has a 1 year warranty that covers roof cleaning.

Never use a surface cleaner on a shingle roofs we offer a Chlorine alternative call Revive-All and Clean-All.

Is it just me or is it ironic that the building they have is so dirty?

They build equipment in a market that is ultra competitive, the east coast of Florida from Miami north to Cocoa is so saturated with pressure washing company's that are well equipped and well funded. Lots of equipment from ICES is on the road over there everyday, I goto that side of the state to work and see it first hand. But I never see anything from them on the west coast or Orlando....odd

And Dan, I know you are well versed on the market and overall issues with pressure wshing in Florida, please do explain that WC IS NEEDED here and not optional. PLEASE

Chlorine replacement uses low pressure rinse not a pressure washer.

Oops never mind. I found your chemicals site. You still have to use a PW, so its junk. Its not a "Chlorine Alternative".

http://www.ices.net/item119.htm

The unit we designed with the Revive-All system uses a 18 GPM @ 580 PSI pump. High volume low pressure equals no damage to the shingle roof.
You can use a small 13 HP pressure washer with a 4 nozzle 16" water broom attachment, since it bring the total impact down to a level you can put your hand in without damage.

The benefit of Clean-all and Revive-All over Chlorine is you can have one man on a job and he (or she) can clean around 1,500 square feet per hour. Even at .10 cents per square foot that is $150.00 per man hour.

If you use chlorine and the jobs requires up to three people onsite, one on the roof, two workers on the ground watering and covering up plants. Then that $150.00 roof adds up to only $50.00 per man hour.

With Revive-All and Clean-All there is no need to water the grass and plants.

One gallon of Clean-all or Revive-All costs around $18.95 cheaper in bulk. Chemical cost between 1 and 2 cents per square feet.
It does not get weaker over time like Chlorine.

Clean-All is non a corrosive chemicals that also cleans shingle roofs while protecting the roof underlayment, nails and other hardware.

To each his own, I respect the contractor that using chlorine in right way and takes all the proper precautions.

Since this has already been hijacked a couple of questions about your roof system. Is this product diluted before use? If not with your math 18 gpm @ 1 hour for 1,500 s/f would be about 800 gallons allowing for not having the trigger pulled all the time. At a cost of $19 a gal? If it is diluted at what rate? The real question is what is the rate of coverage per gallon of product?

I don't think there is anyway using a water broom you could do 1,500 s/f per hour. With a small PW are you talking about down streaming or running directly through the pump? The only time we use more than 2 people is on large commercial roofs. Not knocking it just trying to see if it's a viable alternative.

Dan where do you get those square 26 g chem tanks and what are the two outlets for? Is the valve just a dump line right onto the floor?
