The smaller Shurflo is better suited to the wand because it uses a smaller nozzle so necessary to allow adequate velocity from the 3/8 hose compromised pump.

It is un true that smaller hose will make it "shoot" further, it wont.
It's real simple, the more pressure, the farther you shoot.
3/8 hose in long lengths robs pressure, so do not be suprised if the 45 psi shurflow "outshoots" the higher pressure, but hose compromised pump ?

I would tell Spraying Systems that you need to "play around" with nozzle size, and ask them to include some free samples ?

You root for Bama... oh wait, this had nothing to do with football, did it?

Don will be the first one to tell anyone he did not invent that wand. But he did so much to popularize it, he very much deserves to have it named after him. The PVC Wand was around our industry, going back to the Delco Board.
But Don Phelps took it to an whole new level, with his addition of an angled fitting at the base of the wand. This allowed the wand(meaning the nozzle attached to it) to spray back against the faces of the tiles.

I invented the Everything Bagel back in 1978 when I was a Baker in NY. Just a little bit of trivia in case someone ask's u, now u know...lol

PWI is the Place where most things Originated in the Mobile Cleaning world.

Nearly all BBS started here.

What's Funny is PWI has been the Platform for most things in this Industry.

Technology, advancements, announcing, Publications, EXPO, Roundtables Started Here in 2001. Pretty Much if you name it , happened here first.

Funny Live Web talks actually started at PWN in 99 by Chris Detter, wood Webinars live. Look at Chris Now running a Multi million Dollar COMpany.

Do you guys Realize how Many Orgs have attempted to Start?

How many made it and how Many Mags.

Not to even mention the Contractors who have come and Gone.
LOL, and we have seen them ALL come and go, haven't we Ron ?
Remember the Lance and Car Wash Guys ? I know Scott Stone, you and I will. Remember BigBoy, and Daves Pressure Washing Board ?
You have done a lot for the Industry Ron, and one day, you will be on my first ballot into the CIHOF (Cleaning Industry Hall Of Fame)

But I am just not especially qualified to offer opinions of the WHOLE Cleaning Industry. My specialty is Roof Cleaning.
So, I may start the RCHOF (roof cleaning hall of fame) I have pretty seriously thought about it.
My nominees so far include, but are not limited to, Don Phelps(Phelps Wand, and thousands of people trained), AC Lockyer(Founder of Mallard Systems, the largest roof cleaning company the world has ever known), Doug Rucker (roof cleaning school),

I am not sure IF the RICHOF will have a vendor subsection, or not, because AC and I must be considered vendors, and really so do you Ron, since you profit a little bit, from NCE Roundtables ?
Don't feel alone, I make a little from the RCIA.
So does AC and Doug Rucker, with his excellent roof cleaning school in Houston Texas.

I think Bob from Pressure Tek needs mention, Maybe Paul too for his innovative dual pump roof cleaning system, and Russ Johnson for his roof snot.

Of course, we can't forget Beth Borrego, Thad Eckhoff, The Hinderliters, Envirospec and John Allison, and several others I know I have missed.

I am most likely going to do it (the roof cleaning part ONLY) to make sure the contributions made to the roof cleaning world by the persons I have mentioned are never forgotten.
Of course, we will keep Politics OUT of it.

It will be done on an OPEN to search engines part of the RCIA Forum, and posters can "write in" candidates, and their reasons WHY a particular candidate should be forever enshrined in the Roof Cleaning Hall Of Fame (RCHOF), pronounced Rickoff.

Help me with this Ron, or anyone else. I am only interested in the Roof Cleaning part of the Hall Of Fame. Let's not let the contributions of our cleaning forefathers who went before us, ever be forgotten.
Let's recognize them, and their contributions to the Industry we all Love!
