When the customer asks?

That is a good one Jim. hahahahaha

That is probably 20 times more than a lot of people out there giving advice or commenting trying to help.

I need to remember that one......Doctor-it. hahahahaha That is priceless.

I have my My Doctor-it in Roofology from reading 500 roof posts and completing 10 paid jobs while being insured.

And to think,,,, I'm just an RN---Roof Nurse. Maybe I need to go back to school.

Thats a Great Group of photos
I make them tell me. I ask them a bunch of questions about mold, mildew, fungus etc...and ask them what they think would kill it. Pretty much 100% of them say bleach. They just don't know what else goes into the recipe. That's where I draw the line and leave the mystery. Most folks who call don't really even care. That's why they are calling. They want somone else to clean it.

We did however get a call last summer from a guy who started trying to clean his own with a pump up sprayer. After taking a crack at it and falling a few times he figured he would let us finish the other 5500 sq ft. Here is a picture. You can see where he started...He said never again. LOL... It actually took us 2 1/2 coats to eat through the black mold on his roof. That and we got caught in 2 rain storms in the middle of it. You can see where above the front doorway got rinsed by the rain already after the third coat.

As a roof cleaner I have several roof cleaning mixtures for Houston Texas that I have used for roof cleaning but my favorite contains the Green Wash roof cleaning additive. It is so simple to use. Instead of adding a little of this, little of that, and a little of that also I now only have one thing to mix with SH and I can easily vary the mixture based on how dirty the roof cleaning is or if it is tile or composition. Green Wash roof cleaning additive contains a clinging agent, fragrance, and other ingredients that turbo charges the roof cleaning solution so that you use less SH to do the same job.

AC Lockyer developed it and if you look at the bottom of the linked page you will see a list of distributors for Green Wash.

I have not used the Green Wash for roof cleaning yet but I have used it for house washing and apartment cleaning here in South Texas.

I still have the other additives for roof cleaning, depending on how steep the roofs are, how dirty they are, etc....

How are your pumps holding up Marcus?

Those Photo are very Slick
