Show me the reel:rap:
I Think I will Take old Steve up on his idea. what do you guys think?
You should call the factorywell here is my experince. we had 2 of them that failed quickly. They were stainless steel. I called cox reel and spoke with a woman. I told her I could send her pictures of what was wrong and I did, but she never got back with me. I tried to get back in contact, but no one ever returned my calls, or anything. I'd never buy another one.
I wish I still had her email. It was on my laptop and I let someone have it.
I am more amazed you have a guy working for you for 14 years....that is a testimony in itself to the boss you are and the company you operate. (if you actually do..;lol)

I have had the same thing happen. I had one of their heavy duty stainless swivels fail. I am not talking O-ring failure, I am talking totally blown apart, I now have extra pieces failure. It was pretty impressive from a 3000 PSI machine. I took it to the distributor, he called the factory, I hand carried it to the factory because they wanted to see, and said their policy was to ship the replacement to the distributor. I checked with the distributor every day for two months, the factory was about 2 miles away from them, and they never received a replacement. You can say that I was less then satisfied, and you would be right.
