From COX Reels!!

Show me the reel:rap:

I Think I will Take old Steve up on his idea. what do you guys think?

Steve your Reels Held up pretty good, we installed them on one unit that gets pretty heavy use. The other was on a demo unit and a spare unit.

No problems with the reels on the demo or the Spare unit.

After two years the only issue with any of the reels was the pin.

This video of mine really does not give your reel the justice it deserves.

My tech's like myself really prefer hannay.

In all fairness the COX Stood the test, despite my tech saying they suck its really not the case.

Two years and still working, get the latch Fixed and I see these reels being just as good.

well here is my experince. we had 2 of them that failed quickly. They were stainless steel. I called cox reel and spoke with a woman. I told her I could send her pictures of what was wrong and I did, but she never got back with me. I tried to get back in contact, but no one ever returned my calls, or anything. I'd never buy another one.

You should call the factory

I ahve two cox reels about 8 years old. They have been great. Replaced the locking pin yesterday as a matter of fact.

I am more amazed you have a guy working for you for 14 years....that is a testimony in itself to the boss you are and the company you operate. (if you actually do..;lol)

I have had the same thing happen. I had one of their heavy duty stainless swivels fail. I am not talking O-ring failure, I am talking totally blown apart, I now have extra pieces failure. It was pretty impressive from a 3000 PSI machine. I took it to the distributor, he called the factory, I hand carried it to the factory because they wanted to see, and said their policy was to ship the replacement to the distributor. I checked with the distributor every day for two months, the factory was about 2 miles away from them, and they never received a replacement. You can say that I was less then satisfied, and you would be right.
