I have been using the new Fresh Wash sufactant additive for SH for my roof and house washes from powerwash.com This product is great. Has some thickness to it, is not runny like water, covers up the SH smell almost 100%. It actually smells like soap when I spray. It also will not kill your SH mix. I have gotten 4 days out of batch and it was as good as the first day. I highly recommend this product.​
 
Doug, is Fresh Wash a powder or liquid? I see that it is roughly $90 for 5 gallons. What are the active ingredients on the MSDS? I assume that this is primarily a roof cleaners surfactant but what is your mix for roofs and houses? Thanks as I always like to hear of new products!!
 
Liquid...Dont have my MSDS handy but I think you can get it on their web site. For roods I mix in a 65 gallon tank, 14 gallons SH, 50 gallons of water and 48 ounces of Fresh Wash for medium to heavy dirty roofs, house washing about 5-6 gallons of SH and 60 gallons of water 64 ounces Fresh Wash. When downstreaming a house I use a 5 gallon bucket 3 gallons SH 2 gallons water about 4-6 ounces of freshwash. I have been using it on both houses and

It actually works about the same, except this Fresh Wash, to me masks the scent of the SH much better. The last shipment of Green Wash I got it didnt seem to cover it at all, so I tried this product out and seems to me to cover it up 100%. Smells like soap.

Hey Kevin, as you know that will depend on how much you use. I just ordered another 5 today, and I have about 1/2 of the 5 I got two weeks ago. It's just all gonna depend on how busy you are. I use 48 ounces for every 65 gallons of mix. For downstreaming I only use about 4-6 ounces in a five gallon bucket mix.

Have you noticed that it starts to weaken the house wash mix any?

I have gotten 4 days out if it without it weakening the mix. But let's remember that is this time of the year when temps are a little cooler Christopher. I will be interested to see what it does to the mix when we get those 100 degree day's.

Is this the surfactant for your house wash mix or something else?

I guess it is comparable to the green wash from the other vendors?
 
If so, I will have to order some and give it a try.
