Fresh Wash from Powerwash.com

Ed I understand all of that. But the reason I switched from Ammonyx a year and a half ago was because when I tried the Green Wash, I liked how it stuck to the roof better, covered the scent, less window spotting, and I was able to use less SH. And I could make up batches at a time and it would last 3-5 days.

A few months ago I began to notice Green Wash started changing. The color changed, the scent mask wasn't covering the SH smell and it wasn't sticking as well. I contacted AC about it via a text message, and he said he would check on it but I never heard back. In the meantime, Michael Hinderliter gave me a small sample of Fresh Wash to try, (he had no idea of my problems w Green Wash) and I tried it. And I loved it. But was not able to do all the test's I wanted because it was only a small 16-24 ounce sample. A few week's later he sent me a larger sample and I ran it through several tests before I ever recommended it, and all the testing I did for what I needed and wanted, it worked perfectly. So I bought some, recommended it and it's all I use now and the numbers work for me.

You know, everyone is different, I have talked to several guys that still use Green Wash, and they say they have not experienced the problems I did with the Green Wash. Here, other's will say Ammonyx sticks better, or Simple Cherry this or Green Wash that, or Roof Snot this, or Blue Voodoo that or whatever. I guess in the end, we all just share our info, and each use what works best for them. Doesn't make any of us right or wrong over the other.

Yeah I remember those 99-149$ house washes too back in the 80's and early 90's Couple jugs of store bought bleach, couple squirts of dawn, and a 3 GPM machine, Down Stream a house in a couple hours, hope to up sell the drive way for $25.00 and wand it for an hour...ole the good ole days. Don;t miss them a bit.

Doug, no disrespect to you Brother but with new products I like to see more than 1 person giving the review, especially a product that cost $100 + for 5 gals. While I bow to your knowledge in roof cleaning I wash houses and buildings and do more than most and less than some and for the life of me can't understand (or have read) how this product will benefit my bottom line in any way.

If this is a product geared more toward roof cleaning then please disregard my remarks we don't do that many and I don't care to at this point.

I have to agree with that Tim. Although Simple Cherry is not made for roof cleaning it is what we've used for 4 years in house washing with outstanding results. It is as the name states....Simple, it is affordable, spot free, makes windows shine. Yes it is powder from and takes warm water to dissolve it, but the pluses far out weight the minuses with this product. IMO.

Ed, I tried it years ago and didn't notice a difference. Since then I bought a hot water machine and have been thinking about trying it out again.

I tried wax with house wash years ago and it looked nice but did not last long, maybe a month or so but we have the hot Texas heat and some high humidity all the time.

Im still looking for someones review on adding the car wax as per the chemical recipe book. I would bet great results on siding but complaints about windows.
We do the wax step on all of our premium wash packages. It is a separate app after wash and rinse. I don't know what the book says, but the windows love it. The water sheets off and leaves the window cleaner looking IMHO.

Tim, I just ordered a 5 gallon pail of wax (impulse buy) how do you apply it? Down stream? X-jet?And how do you cut it?Thanks

Did you get the good stuff from Russ at SouthSide? We're still using up our other supply, but I mix 2 quarts in a five, downstream, rinse quickly to spread product around on walls a bit, hit windows for a moment or two. Add 25% to house wash quote.
