my sectiom 179 tax deduction

What type of contractors license did you have to have? I was looking at the Roc website and I wouldn't even know where to go.
Mine is a specialty license, but they are not issuing them anymore, so you have to get a general License.

I look forward to Scott's Book when he retires, I hope he tells the story once he is going. Lets just say he made some Big League maneuvers!!!!!

Thats something else Scott.

I cant even begin to imagine the amount of dedication, effort and sheer will power it must take to aquire an account like that and then put it all together.

Congratulations!

He read a bunch of books and taught some seminars Chris.

Minor correction
By the way, as many garages as I do, they have never been my prime source of revenue.

Someone asked me to clarify. I am 100% waste water compliant. I have a storm water plan approved by the city so that I don't need recovery on every truck.

I think he got the JITB contract from Russ. Sorry Scott that was wrong but you know it was funny. You and I have had many discussions and you are definately well respected (by many including myself) and deserving of contracts such as this one.

I went gas. With the cost of the diesel premium, and the difference in price in fuel, it would have cost me about $120,000. Definitely not worth it, in my opinion.

I hear that. I wouldnt have the brains just to get through the bid process

The big question is do they have 36,000 lb axles, are the hoses stainless steel and will they hit 300 degrees?

If not, you may as well go home. You're not ready for the big time.

BTW do you have an $80k shop vac?

I would do the same. With a contract like that you'll get killed with diesel plus you don't need the hi mileage because you will definitely have the ability to turn those trucks over every few years. The big companies like you are now Scott do that all the time.. I actually bought some vehicles in the past from companies that have a large fleet similar to your size now that sell when there trucks hit about 125,000 and there gas.

looks like you have it all figured out. That contract of yours is one of the bigger ones I heard about and you have the right place that your contracted to clean with.

The biggest one I Know of was $30,000,000. The problem with that one is nothing like yours. This one had a middle man who bellied up where the cleaning contractor who's end was $30,000,000 was shizz out of luck.. and that company is where I bought that diesel gooseneck trailer set-up from years ago.. this company was selling everything. They were contracted to clean miles of sidewalks, bldgs and other things in a major city.. but they signed on with a sinking company.

Your deal sounds like everything was done above board with The right people.. everybody's dream if they can handle it.

I probably won't be washing anything. My guys will be washing or???

lol... yup the wand was just taken out of your hands.. let's see if you get the itch to jump right on in... don't do it.. for a couple of years I had that problem but I only have a couple of guys. That step you took here Scott is huge.. Next thing you know is you have managers in place.. This works out for you your going to get some more potential opportunities that will put you inline with some huge companies. Man your on that path. Handle this.. then there is nothing you can't handle.

This is what I see on the outside but for the net this is an inspiration because you don't see this often. Another thing Scott since you don't sub out work your business worth is going to be skyrocketing.. Love these stories.

Even with a larger deduction on road fuel? I know it's a lot of gas you can buy. I'm curious will they be starting and stopping the machines a bunch.

What motor did you choose?
