Looks like the UAMCC has hit a goldmine with the RFP promises. Membership is going through the roof. I hope everyone who is counting on the UAMCC to feed them work will be happy.

So Don't. No one is asking you to. Join if you see a benefit to you and your company. If PWI is all you need then thats great. I use PWI, TGS, UAMCC, PTS and the PWNA and UAMCC org's to benefit my business along with some other orgs. There all money makers but better then that is the relationships and Fun times I had and will still continuously have thru my wifes and my involvements in these groups. There all great.

As for this thread, I actually looked for a place other than Mindless Blabbering to start this thread, but there is no longer a section on this BB like there was before, for UAMCC, PWNA stuff, those forums are gone now.

In a perfect world. I just wanted to get a dialog going and share that there are many job leads out there and some great benefits. I have talked to some PWI contractors on the phone, but I cant call them all, so I thought I would share whats going on and also get some thoughts from everyone. Plain and simple

If the admin or Ron doesnt want it posted here I know they would tell me and I would move or remove this thread. Repercussions I will deal with, I know Ron has called and dealt with what he thinks is right and wrong. I sure we can get past it all. Ron is a great help to the industry, I have said it many times and I feel the UAMCC is too, just like you stated during and after the Charlotte stuff. I hope we all can get past some of the smaller stuff and work on promoting this great industry, there will alwys be a problem here and there, but nothing I think smart people cant work out and deal with

Have you used any of your UAMCC benefits yet Celeste? Got any questions about the them let me know I will get you the answers

Hope we can get this thread to be positive, but if not, its a free world and an open BB, so we can just read on

Jeff, I wasn't giving you crap about where you put the thread, I was just showing the contrast in treatment you get here, vs. what Ron gets there. You can post it in Coil Cleaning as far as I'm concerned, I don't pay any attention to where threads are posted myself, I just look at the titles anyway.

Looks like everybody's joining. It's just not for me. I just have a bad taste in my mouth regarding the org's blatant act of distancing itself as a whole from Ron. You used Roundtables he organized and promoted until you got members, then treated him like crap. (and by you, I mean the entire TT)

I know you werent giving me crap on where I was posting it.

2 years ago it wouldnt of been for me either. I just see benefits in the org. I also think it will REALLY help to promote the WHOLE industry in time and thats a good thing

Oh come on Tony, we've always treated Ron like crap, we are out to get Ron, we totally hate Ron, we used Ron and then dumped him. Come on man its not that crazy. Look at the crap right here on PWI that went on, its not a perfect world, but everything eventually works out or evens out.
Tony like I said Ron almost posts freely on PWI, (yes I said almost, not always) yes we move things at times or ask him to move things. Tony many threads or posts have been moved or deleted, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THREADS? Many have been threads that Ron was attacked in. its a work in progress the UAMCC BB, just like PWI has had its bumps over the years, just like recently, but things get worked out for the most part. We try to treat EVERYONE the same, to you it may not look like that. Maybe it looks like Rons treated different and maybe some of the reason is because Ron has so many threads it just noticed more and differently. Treated differently than here on PWI, Yes, theres just different rules. I dont know what else to say

Ron is a member of the UAMCC and I can tell you we value Ron as a member. Of course we do, as we value all of our members. Rons RT and dumping him is just way off Tony, but you see it that way and I dont think I will be changing your mind anytime soon. Come on, if you join I will get you two UAMCC decals, I know the guy who makes the decals (Shhhh don't tell anyone else). LOL LOL
 
Ron, it was good speaking with you today and thanks for working on getting that 300-500 word description for the email blast that we have planned to promote NCE. Also the 300-500 word description will be used to put NCE on the UAMCC website for promotion. As you know, we asked for this several weeks ago along with the NCE logo. The logo will be promptly put in the current rotation of other supplier members on the UAMCC BBS.

Also can you have someone from NCE, at your convience, send the UAMCC a receipt for the donations we made to the following RT's or do I need to get them from the host?

Georgia RT - $350.00
Tampa RT - $350.00
Alabama - $100.00
Envirospec - $200.00

The UAMCC's accountant is catching us up on the books and we need something from NCE on this. I appreciate it.

Ohh..thanks for the quick call yesterday about the threads over at the UAMCC. As I mentioned, feel free to start that thread we spoke on...I am cool with that relating to NCE Live Events.

NCE to this point is a free listing site. Nce customers are dist. Revenue is not made through events.

For the record myself or NCE has not recieved any money.

All orgs are welcome and invited to 2009 NCE events free. To date NCE has not charged UAMCC a cent.

I apprecieate the support for the industry but understand to meet the criteria for an NCE event its all about the contractor.

Seems alittle silly to charge a non-profit org.

Carlos, you have been invited at no charge to NCE events. You have made some and missed some for whatever reasons.

2010 the UAMCC, PWNA, Iteka , IWCA and many other orgs will get the same invite. ( Free)

This is a standard I set when starting NCE, we will turn no one away.

I will not host a event with anyone who will not accept that rule.

The PWNA was also in Alabama, we charge then the same as you, zero....

I support the UAMCC, PWNA, IWCA and all others orgs and NCE will always keep that as a fundamental pricipal. If possible they will always be free to the entire industry. NCE will never have a paid membership anyone but dist.

If you will look NCE does not have a paypal on NCE. The individual pages have the independant people who host the events.

Russ chose not to collect any money, Tony held a classroom on his own. Sunbrite was there own, pauls was his. Scott Stone did it old school(checks)

NCE will have a store in the fall and a publications we have had all sorts of trouble getting off the ground.

NCE end user mailers will start going out late this month.
 
So anyone else have any thoughts on the UAMCC, good bad or ugly, up or down, happy or sad, left or right, yay or nay

I did this thread to get the message out, YES, but the main reason was to show contractors the RFP's that are coming in and the other benefits so they can see whats going on. I did the same on PT State. I fully knew there may be negative questions or thoughts and thats also what I wanted to hear. I wanted to know contractors thoughts

Anything else lets hear it.

Hope to see you all at a RT soon and hopefully at the UAMCC Convention
 
I have had threads moved, edited, deleted and been banned from every forum..............why does everyone hate me?
