I want to attend the UAMCC National Convention and Tradeshow for several reasons. I’m going because of the variety of speakers. Sales and how to increase my sales is always something I am thinking about and working on, it’s the only way my company will continue to grow. There are many parts of sales and many parts of sales I need help in. Knowing how to communicate effectively, knowing how to sell, knowing how to sell at the right prices to make a good profit, knowing different sales techniques and what ways to sell to the market I go after, all this looks like it will be covered at the convention. The list of speakers and topics look vast and the experience level of the speakers is phenomenal. George Headley a professional business speaker, look at his resume, look at the groups he speaks to, I have never seen a speaker of his caliber at any event, he is going to be one of the highlights of this event for me. Bill McKay, direct marketing, if I can find ways to get in front of my customers, that’s a huge plus. Toastmasters after researching them I know this is one group I will learn from. My communication skills need improvement, lots of improvement. I am not a born salesman, if I can learn how to do better sales presentations, how to listen to my customers and just get over some of my fear of public speaking I know I will benefit greatly. I am the sales team, so I have to get better at it to continue to grow. Community Manager, Mike Parades, this is my market residential property managers and HOA’s, I need to hear what he has to say. Look at all the other topics and the professionals that are going to be speaking and sharing with all the convention attendee’s, WOW. Roof cleaning, Fleets, window washing, chemical safety, internet marketing, wood restoration, sealers and coatings and the list goes on. Like I said I am going because of the variety and experience levels of all these speakers. So much is going to be covered that there is no way I will not learn how to increase my sales.
Look at the rest of the agenda, the tradeshow, I love checking out pressure washing equipment, the tools of my trades, all the exhibitors all in one place, I will be like a kid in a candy store.
Networking, I have learned over the past few years that networking with folks in my trade, like minded contractors and networking with those in my target market has taught me how to be a better contractor and salesman. At the UAMCC Convention and Tradeshow the networking possibilities are endless. The speakers, the social events, the tradeshow, the networking it’s all going to be here under one roof at the convention. I would be crazy to miss this event. I’ve never seen anything like it, but I will in October in Orlando at the UAMCC “ Know Your Business to Grow Your Business Convention and Tradeshow. Go UAMCC
