Because you are Roger.

As for the UAMCC...

I have had threads moved, edited, deleted and been banned from every forum..............why does everyone hate me?

Because you don't misspell enough words Roger.

There's a range of misspelling that is acceptable in this industry and you fall above that line.

Yur differnt and we dont lik it!

And your posts are confusing and stick logic right in the middle of an argument and that's just not right!:p

The hundreds of contractors on PWI and no other thoughts on the UAMCC? Come on guys speak up. Good or Bad, just want to see what contractors are thinking after a couple months of the UAMCC being open for membership.

I'm sure everyone will respect your opinions. I didnt put this out here to argue, just to get your opinions yay or nay. Got several hundred views to this thread, lets hear from you all. You can argue your point and or just ask qustions its all good. This is a free and open forum and thanks so far for your input all

Jeff, we see a lot of contractors that are signing up from the boards, whats the ratio of non board members to board members. If only the BBS world is involved it will be just like us renaming ourselves, we already know each other and already share info ect.....

I dont see a lot of welcoming outsiders?

I like Roger and I banned him ! hahahahaha

But I will bet that if Roger sets his mind to it he can get banned from there too

Like you had 6 people in alabama that didnt even know a bbs existed Atlanta had more.

I also know in Atlanta Carlos & David did a bit more than Jeff as far as sign ups. ( not knocking you Jeff, timing was not right for Carlos & David)

I would say 10% of the folks dont come or even view the BBS, another 12% view but do not particpate.

I could be dead wrong but I have Kept track best I can through the rounds with Stats so far. My interest is purely just wanting to know demographics of attendees.

I suspect the 20 to 25 percent is what the UAMCC will have not particpating online at all.

Keep in mind I'm just guessing from past experince.

This is a great question Russ. We most definitly want outsiders, OFF the BB contractors. I don’t know the ratio as of today. I will find out. But you are right the majority now is from the BB's and many are from the BB’s.& RT’s There are several off the BB contractor and vendors that are UAMCC members

Off the BB contractors is a major priority of the UAMCC. MAJOR!!! This is being worked on in many different avenues. We did hold back going to off the BB community, we had to until the org was officially launched. Basically we didn’t feel we could target them until of course the org was launched. The BB's of course we went to from the beginning of this 16, 17 months ago, because it’s a microcosm of the industry and it’s easily accessible (the BB's). Plus we needed the BB communities input on the actual forming of the UAMCC. Many of the ideas and things that are in place came from members of the BB and RT’s

Now that we are launched, we are going outside the BB’s big time. One of the problems going outside the BB’s has been to get an actual list of the thousands of contractors. There is no one list we can purchase to get these names of contractors. We know there’s over 20+K pressure washing contractors give or take. So there’s no one list we can purchase, but many in the industry have different lists from hundreds of contractors to thousands of contractors. But many protect their lists and rightfully so. Many don’t want their list out, many don’t want to give their list out because they don’t want their contractors hassled or spammed etc etc. So actual list are hard to get in our hand

BUT many have offered help and here’s some ways we are going out to OFF the BB contractors and this pretty much just started in the past month or so. I will share with you what I know

Vendors distributors are being a great help and are a great source for list of contractors on and off the BB’s. And by the way THANK YOU VENDORS

Many vendors have been gracious enough to do a mention of the UAMCC in their news letters and it goes out to their customer list

Many vendors have said and our allowing the UAMCC to submit an overview of the UAMCC or a postcard to them and they will send it out to their customer list via EMAIL or in product shipped to their customers

The UAMCC has made up postcards and are making up other postcards and informational things and we are sending them to vendor/distributors so they can put them on the counters so when contractors go into the vendors stores they will see them. We have things about the UAMCC itself and things about the October convention

Team members are going to be getting postcards to hand to vendors they deal with locally and are asking those vendors to display them. Like me we don’t have many vendors that deal with the pressure washing community here in Myrtle Beach. But we have a local mechanic, that works mainly on PWing equipment and I will be bringing postcards into him to give out

The postcards we would like to mail out, but it just gets to expensive( plus good list are hard to come by) Just say 10K of postcards that’s $2700 (I think postcards stamps are $.27) and we all know if you use postcards to target a market you should do MANY mailings…once again, way to EXPENSIVE at this time.

The Round tables as I have mentioned are a great source and we will continue to show up at them and support them. The NY RT, many non BB members signed up, same with the other RT’s (GA RT Sunbrite) I think we got non BB sign ups. THANK YOU RT hosts and NCE

Direct Media is working for the UAMCC and have compiled some list, but these lists have to be sorted out and checked to see if they are good #’s or addresses

We are using email blast from those who sign up on the UAMCC website and BB

Cleaner Times will be an avenue

Word of mouth too

I know I am missing some things and ways we are going after the OFF the BB contractors but this gives you an idea. Like I said it’s a MAJOR priority. There are small and huge companies that never visit the BB, never heard of the BB’s MANY MANY smart businessmen and women out there and we want to get out to them now that we have launched the UAMCC and we are getting out to them

HEY ANYONE have a list, we would be appreciative if you would let us use it in anyway you see fit

Thanks for the GREAT Question Russ, we are going all avenues we can and can afford. We want contractors from all over the country BB members and Non members.

I am hoping for many non BB contractors to be at the Convention, it may be the UAMCC’s first convention, but most of all it’s a Pressure washing convention and we hope we all will get to meet contractors we never have met or heard of

The UAMCC knows for the UAMCC to succeed long term we have to bring in talent, from all sources of the PWing Contractor & Vendor community, we have to help all contractors, because it will only be these contractors that help the UAMCC to grow

ANY IDEAS HOW TO GET OUT TO THE INDUSTRY, LET US KNOW. We could use the input and help

Keep them questions coming.

I know you arent knocking me. I wasnt a great spokemen at Bama, I will be better at Kory's RT, but BAMA was before we were launched and taking members, thats why we didnt try to sign anyone up. I will try to get the numbers from Los, he's a busy guy doing UAMCC stuff all the time

These Google ads are not good... that one pop into the actual thread as you can see.

You know I just saw that google stuff stuck in the middle of post when my computer went down a couple weeks ago. I couldnt get back on the BB's right away. I could get on as a visitor and thats when I saw those ads. As a member of the BB, I dont see those ads. Hmmmm I wonder how that works. I meant to bring that up on a conference call. On the side of the screen is cool, but in the post I dont like it either.

LOL, what can I say, I am a RT LUSH  I sure do like the Royal Flushes, but what else would the King drink other than CROWN ROYAL and Budweiser (The KING of Beer) LOL LOL LOL. Alright I might drink a few other things too :p

Hey I dont get to go out and party to much with two young kids, the RT's are informative and a heck of a good time

Bottums up :D

Scott I agree with everything you said except that I am mistaken. Promotion is fine and is not hindered. They allow 1 thread per event. Not 5 threads for the same event promoting different aspects of it.

I am sorry my friend, but you are mistaken.

UAMCC rules:

Example 2: If you are a distributor or contractor reporting on an event, a new website, a new product, etc. ALL updates regarding that topic are to be contained within that thread. Update the thread as often as you wish but refrain from starting new threads on the same topic. New threads on the same topic will be moved or deleted by staff

So your saying E-spec Delco Sunbrite and all other dist get one thread to incompass everything they want to promote? OK

Question? Are all you guys seeing that google ad in the post. Are you seeing it as a visitor or guest or are you also seeing it as registered member of the UAMCC BB. I am asking because I dont see it and I think I only saw it as a guest.

Thanks
